Shilajit and ashwagandha have some evidence for stress and general vitality, but little solid proof that they make you last longer in bed, and none of them train the muscle that actually controls the reflex. Here is what is myth and what is fact, without the marketing.

Do stamina supplements make you last longer?
Mostly, no, at least not in the way the ads promise. Most stamina and testosterone products are aimed at energy, libido, or erections, not at the ejaculatory reflex that decides how long you last. Some have modest evidence for stress or wellbeing. None of them strengthen the pelvic floor, which is the muscle that actually controls the timing.

Shilajit: myth or fact?
Part fact, mostly overhyped. Shilajit has some early research suggesting it may support energy and testosterone in certain men, which is why it is marketed for vitality. But there is little good evidence that it helps you last longer specifically, and it does nothing to train the muscle behind the reflex. Treat it as a general tonic at best, not a fix for finishing too fast.
Ashwagandha: myth or fact?
Genuine for stress, weak for lasting longer. Ashwagandha has reasonable evidence for lowering stress and anxiety, and some studies suggest a small effect on testosterone. Since anxiety is a real driver of finishing fast, calming it may help indirectly. But it is not a targeted treatment, and the effect on timing is unproven.
| Product | What it is aimed at | Evidence for lasting longer |
|---|---|---|
| Shilajit | Energy, testosterone | Little to none |
| Ashwagandha | Stress, mild testosterone | Indirect at best |
| Testosterone boosters | Libido, energy | Little to none for timing |
| Viagra / sildenafil | Erections | Not for timing (see below) |
| Delay sprays | Numbing the skin | Masks, does not train |
Viagra and delay sprays: myth or fact?
Viagra is a fact for erections and a myth for timing. It helps you get and keep an erection, so it can indirectly help a man who rushes because he is losing firmness, but it does not train the reflex that controls when you finish, and prescription medicine should come from a doctor, not a website. Delay sprays numb sensation for an hour, then wear off. Neither fixes the cause. More on this in lasting longer without pills.
What actually works
The method with real, repeatable evidence for lasting longer is training the pelvic floor, the muscle that brakes the reflex. In a clinical trial, twelve weeks of it took men from about 32 seconds on average to over 146. That is a targeted fix, not a general tonic. See the full guide.

A note on safety
Supplements are not automatically safe just because they are natural. Quality varies hugely, some can interact with medicines, and a few contain more than the label says. If you want to try one, buy from a reputable brand and check with a doctor first, especially if you take other medication.
